Another good tip is don't use texting as a security feature (often an option with exchanges to verify ownership). It has been proven time and again, crooks can easily "social engineer" their way into your phone account adding a line, cloning or deactivating your phone for theirs to intercept phone verification by text.
Don't trust your phone carrier to protect your assets!
And for the love of crypto don't trust your sole phone as your only access for your assets, you better have written down your key not just shrugged off all those warnings.

Write the seed as tiny as possible twice, laminate it and cut them apart, should be about the size of 2 postage stamps. Hide one where you live and one with a relative that doesn't live near you. There are a million places to hide something that durable and small.

All those backups backups backups and keys keys keys and who knows what no wonder simple people never want to get into crypto it's too difficult for them LOL. How the hell am I going to get my mom at the crypto with all those backups LOL hopefully one of these days they make it simple like that it gets more adoption. Except to say people want a simple life they like simple things they want it easy they don't want to learn. Maybe that's like 80% of the world LOL.
